Operator
The person doing craft deliberately. The term is borrowed from the magical lineages and kept because it names a competence rather than an identity: a site of skill prior to any particular paradigm, posture, or role.Source: chaos-magick usage, especially Peter J. Carroll and Phil Hine.
Ordeal
The whole arc of intensive work: entry into an altered state, whatever is composed or released inside it, and the return to ordinary life with enough structure intact to live there.
Transduction
The constructive inverse of deconditioning: a chosen system, symbol, practice, or shared world becomes capable of carrying power, presence, and ontological consequence, so that it ceases to be a mere idea and begins to organise a life. The term follows Gilbert Simondon, for whom transduction names an operation by which a structure propagates through a field, resolving tensions while individuating the field it moves through.Source: Gilbert Simondon, Individuation in Light of Notions of Form and Information.
The four elements

Consent gate
The explicit, refusable threshold at which the subject of a composition agrees to receive it. The single hinge separating craft from capture.
Declared aim
The named outcome an operator is composing toward, spoken aloud, in language the subject can refuse. Undeclared aims metabolise into the operator’s own set and re-emerge as “what I sincerely felt was best.”
Janus posture

The intensive
Reality under its non-ordinary aspect: the underlying field of forces, flows, charges, and potentials from which familiar forms crystallise. The plane of consistency in Deleuze’s vocabulary; Brahman in the Vedic; the magickal plane in occulted traditions. Not a separate world. The extensive
Reality under its ordinary aspect: distinct objects, stable forms, the world of appearances. Maya in the Vedic vocabulary. The plane on which institutional thought, scientific measurement, and everyday cognition primarily operate. Gnosis
The practice and capacity for engaging reality under its intensive aspect. Not a belief, not a content; a mode of access. Across chaos magick, Wicca, contemplative lineages, and adjacent traditions, gnosis names the moment when ordinary appearances loosen and the field beneath them becomes available to perception, composition, release, and effect.Source: chaos-magick usage in Peter J. Intensive state
A condition in which the ordinary subject loosens and reality’s intensive aspect becomes locally available: trance, gnosis, flow, awe, ecstatic certainty, erotic fusion, collective effervescence, ideological possession, charismatic capture, machine-mediated suggestion. Edit-access opens. Suggestibility climbs. Whoever is in the room when it opens can write.
Controlled ordeal
An ordeal entered with consent, held by a container, given a specified exit, and tethered to ordinary life throughout. The basic shape of healthy intensive work, individual or collective.
Consensual transformation
An intensive ordeal entered with consent, container, and exit in place. Where any of those is absent or coerced, the same underlying state becomes capture.
Assemblage
Any system — a person, a coven, a sports team, a startup, a feed, a movement — concretised into operative capacity through repeated charged attention. The constituents are heterogeneous (media, bodies, signs, rhythms, machines, institutions, money, rooms, affects); what binds them into a working unity is transduction, the granting of presence and consequence to a shared world until that world begins to organise the lives inside it. The subject is one assemblage among many. A team that has trained together long enough is another; the 1993 Chicago Bulls, in the hours during which the court was their entire world, were another still. Predictive collapse
The condition in which the brain’s predictive machinery treats the inherited structures of perception — money, the unitary individual, the family form, the boundaries of the socially possible — as given rather than as chosen, so that the structures never come up for inspection. The architecture stays invisible precisely because it has been collapsed into habit. Write access
Outside the ordeal the operator has only read access to their own conditioning: the capacity to notice their habits, their salience, and their inherited frames without being able to edit them. Write access is what the nondual ordeal opens. It is granted equally to whatever else is in the interior at the time, which is why the same opening that makes transformation possible also makes capture possible. Capture

Ritual container
